        Jenni Wilson, jewellery ~

Following graduation from the University of Derby in 1998, with a BA (Hons.) in Applied Arts, Jenni Wilson spent a year developing her professional skills on the Taylor-Burgess Design Enterprise Scheme in Birmingham, and subsequently set up a workshop in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter.

Utilising the varied skills that she had gained from her degree, Jenni has designed contemporary jewellery thet has a fresh and humorous approach. Her intention is to make jewellery which takes a different, less obvious perspective appealing to people looking for something quirky and unique.

She enjoys taking inspiration that would not usually be associated with jewellery and translating these ideas into original and desirable pieces of work. Jenni is currently producing a range based on cooking utensils, and another around the theme of 'washing'. The miniature items of clothing can be selected to hang on a washing line or tiny coat hangers, creating personalised wearable washing!
