My investigation into light, reflection and movement during my degree has become a theme which still influences my work today. Over time it has evolved into a theme which I use to choose metals to reflect and enhance the natural qualities of stones and ways of designing pieces which combine moving elements to catch and reflect light.

I enjoy finding unusual stones to create both one-off pieces and ranges of jewellery. I use simple geometric forms to create uncomplicated pieces in which the stones remain the focal point. I use traditional techniques in producing my work and have developed my own way of inlaying gold and platinum to contrasting metals to add colour.

My years of training have taught me the importance of working to the highest standard possible and the simplicity of my designs to ensure pieces can be worn for many years.
