Designs Gallery was delighted to be hosting Lizzie Farey’s first solo exhibition. Lizzie first exhibited at Designs more than 10 years ago and over that time we have seen her work change and develop in new directions. Her first baskets, traditional and practical pieces, shoppers, trugs, linen and wood baskets have evolved into more abstract and creative forms.

Daniel Lacey - Furniture ~ 27th May until 1st July, 2006
  This exhibition at Designs Gallery is furniture maker Daniel Lacey's first solo exhibition, and follows on from a successful year in 2005, when he participated in events with the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers at Bonhams, a Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design at Cheltenham, and Chelsea Crafts Fair in October, at which he won a First Time Exhibitor Award.
'Spring Flowers' ~ 8th April until 20th May, 2006
  Based on a collective theme of the spring, this exhibition featured work by three artists who recently exhibited at the Chelsea Craft Fair in London, Melanie Tomlinson, Lowri Davies and Cathy Miles.
